To get to Daigoji Temple from Kyoto Municipal Subway Station, you can follow these steps:
- **From Kyoto Subway Station**: Depending on which subway station you are starting from, you'll need to reach a station where you can transfer to the Tozai Line. For example, if you're at Kyoto Station, you can take the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line (in green) to Karasuma Oike Station (K08/T13 on the map), and then transfer to the Tozai Line. If you're starting from another subway station, find the nearest station where you can transfer to the Tozai Line.
- **Transfer to the Tozai Line**: Once you're at the appropriate station where you can transfer to the Tozai Line, look for signs directing you to the Tozai Line platform. The Tozai Line is marked with a red color on the subway map.
- **Take the Tozai Line to Daigo Station**: Board a train on the Tozai Line heading towards either Rokujizo or Uzumasa Tenjingawa, depending on which direction you're coming from. Ride the Tozai Line until you reach Daigo Station (T03 on the map).
- **Walk to Daigoji Temple**: Upon arrival at Daigo Station, exit the station and follow signs or use a map/GPS to walk to Daigoji Temple. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk from Daigo Station to the temple.
