Galaxy in Space Propulsion Engine

Explanation
Liquid propellants for space propulsion engines have hypergolic characteristics which mean fuel and oxidizer spontaneously auto-ignite without ignition devices when they come into contact with each other. The photographs show the thin flames which appeared in the narrow gap between liquid fuel and oxidizer jets. When the injection velocities increased, liquid fuel and oxidizer strongly impinged each other and the flames immediately developed. The developing flames surrounded by ligaments of liquid fuel and oxidizer look like a beautiful galaxy.
